Most
likely you already make
homemade soaps if you are
considering starting a soap
company. Handmade soaps are
growing in appeal because of the
growing movement for all natural
and organic products. Consumers
also are seeking to buy locally. In
addition to the handcrafted, local,
and natural appeal, handmade
soaps often are given as gifts in
baskets for special occasions and
holidays.
Difficulty:
Moderately Challenging
Things You'll Need:
Business plan
Legal documents
Insurance
Soap-making equipment
Digital scale
Packaging
Interactive e-commerce
website
Instructions
1. Research carefully your
business idea. Based on your
research, put together a
businesses plan. Include a
mission statement, description
of your business, analysis of the
market, analysis of the
competition, current financial
documents, projected financial
outlook and any documents
you will need to establish your
business.
2. Establish your business as a
legal entity. Soap companies
may be required to have
special licensing in certain areas.
Consult your local Small
Business Administration office
or a lawyer to ensure that you
have filed all of the necessary
documents at the local, state
and federal levels.
3. Research possible insurance
options. Because you will be
selling a personal care product,
you will want insurance to
protect yourself from claims.
Consult a local insurance
provider to determine your
options based on your business
model.
4. Acquire any soap-making
equipment you may need to
take your soap production to a
larger scale. Purchase books on
soap making if you are
unfamiliar with the process.
Gain a level of proficiency
before selling any of your
product. Basic equipment may
include bowls, mixer, measuring
cups, spoons, double boiler, and
molds. Locate a source for your
ingredients. If your products are
all natural, consider finding a
local farm as a source of your
herbs and fragrances. Use the
local source to market your
product. You also will need a
digital scale and creative
packaging. Purchase supplies
for packaging and experiment
until you find a creative way to
present your soap.
5. Locate venues to sell your
products. Farmers markets,
craft markets, retail stores, local
day spas and bed and
breakfasts are all potential
markets. Meet with the owners
face to face to discuss your
soaps and pitch them on the
benefits of using your soaps in
their service businesses.
6. Design a website with the
assistance of a web designer.
The website should be an
interactive e-commerce
website. Provide a way to
purchase the soaps online.
Include a forum to create a
community atmosphere on
your website. Use the feedback
on the forum to improve your
soaps. Blog regularly to keep
your content fresh and provide
your customers with
information about your soaps
and the handcrafted soap
industry.

Secrets to Achieving Financial Independence

Most people believe the key to
wealth is a high-paying job. Yes, it's
easier to amass assets if you have
more money coming in each
month, but the true secret to
increasing your net worth is to
spend less than you make. It is a
cliche; but it is the fundamental,
absolute, non-negotiable reality of
money. To escape this trap, you
need to understand that income is
not wealth.
What is wealth? My personal
definition: Wealth is the part of
your net worth ( assets minus
liabilities) that generates capital
gains, income, and dividends
without your labor. If you are a
Doctor or Lawyer, you need to put
in long hours after years of
specialty training and higher
education to get a paycheck. On
the other hand, if you have a
portfolio of private businesses, car
washes, parking garages, stocks,
bonds, mutual funds, real estate,
patents, trademarks, and other
cash generators, you could sit by
the pool. The real value, of course,
is that you could maintain your
lifestyle even if you were disabled
or unable to continue working at
your primary occupation. Better
yet, unlike a salaried employee,
wealth can't fire you - you have to
squander it. It's far easier to lose a
job that wipe out a well-constructed
portfolio.
The level of your wealth should be
measured by the length of time
you could maintain your standard
of living without an additional
paycheck. In other words, if you
had to stop working right now, how
long could you keep up your
purchasing pattern for cars,
clothing, music lessons, college
tuition, video games, etc.? The
average person isn't educated in
this truth, which is why the more
and more they earn, they are left
wondering why financial
independence and security
continue to allude them, always
seemingly just out of grasp.

The only way to take advantage of
investment opportunities is to have
the money to invest. The reality of
successful investing is that there is
a certain point where you reach
critical mass and the returns
generated on your assets can
change your life; e.g., earning a
10% return on $10,000 is only
going to net you $1,000 before
taxes - hardly earth shattering, but
the same return on a $1,000,000
portfolio is $100,000, which has far
utility despite requiring the same
effort and research.
Amassing wealth and becoming
financially independent is a slow
process that takes time. You do
small things every day such as cut
your expenses, generate extra
income, and put the money into
brokerage and tax-deferred
retirement accounts. With time, it
begins to amount to something. As
each new opportunity appears, you
can react on a larger scale than
your previous investments. That's
called compounding. It's when the
interest, dividends, and capital
gains your money has earned
begin to generate their own
interest, dividends, and capital
gains, and on and on in a virtuous
cycle. It's how $10,000 can grow to
$2,890,000 over 50 years at 12%.
Commentator Larry Kudlow
pointed out one of the great truths
years ago when he said that profits
are nothing more than margins
times revenue. The profoundness
of that statement is sometimes lost
by its simplicity. The only way you
can have more money left over at
the end of the month is to either
increase revenue (your paycheck,
business sales, billable hours, or
whatever it is that provides funds
to cover your bills) or decrease
costs. That's it. Write it down. Frame
it. It's that remarkable. Your choices
are to increase revenue, cut costs,
or both.

Billionaire investor Charlie Munger
has remarked that entrepreneurs
can thrive if they specialize in an
overlooked economic niche, much
like animals in nature. Often, these
niches are extremely lucrative but
not likely to win you friends at
cocktail parties. Don't believe me?
Quick! Conjure up images of a
multi-millionaire. What do you see?
High-tech 20-somethings on a
yacht? Molecular biologists?
Although there are a few, most of
the big money is in industries such
as waste management (garbage),
pizza, clothing stores, trailer parks,
candles, and shipping.
Consider the case of Sam Walton.
He built a tiny dime store from the
corner of Arkansas into the biggest
retailer in the world, amassing a
family fortune of more than $125
billion. There's nothing sexy about
selling fifty-cent flip-flops and
bottles of cheap cologne in small
towns but Walton was on a mission
to bring affordable goods to
everyday Americans. He was a
man possessed with vision. He built
his company one store at a time -
one might even say one checkout
at a time - with no fanfare or red
carpet walks.
Business owners represent a
disproportionately large segment
of the millionaire population. It's
hard to believe, but there's a good
chance that the biggest hardware
store owner or plumber in your
town has a net worth many times
that of you highest paid doctor.
Part of the reason is a concept
we've discussed called capitalized
earnings. Another is something Dr.
Stanley mentioned in his book.
Doctors are pressured to buy status
symbols to convince their patients
they are successful. Not the
plumber. He can put more money
into his retirement accounts. Over
decades, the result is millions in
additional wealth for the guy who
unclogged toilets instead of
arteries. That's not something you
learn about in school.

How Do I Actually Make Money From Buying Stock?

It's Simple, Really
When you buy a share of stock,
you are buying a piece of a
company. Imagine that Harrison
Fudge Company, a fictional
business, has sales of $10,000,000
and net income of $1,000,000. To
raise money for expansion, the
company’s founders approached a
Wall Street underwriting firm (an
investment banker) and had them
sell stock to the public. They might
have said, “Okay, we don’t think
your growth rate is great so we are
going to price this so that future
investors will earn 9% on their
investment plus whatever growth
you generate … that works out to
around $11,000,000+ value for the
whole company ($11 million
divided by $1 million net income =
9% return on initial investment. )”
Now, we’re going to assume that
the founders sold out completely
instead of issuing stock to the public
(for an explanation of the
difference, see Investing Lesson 1:
Introduction to Wall Street.)
The underwriters may say, “You
know, we want the stock to sell for
$25 per share because that seems
affordable so we are going to cut
the company into 440,000 pieces,
or shares of stock (440,000 shares
x $25 = $11,000,000.) That means
that each “piece” or share of stock
is entitled to $2.72 of the profit
($1,000,000 profit ÷ 440,000 shares
outstanding = $2.72 per share.) This
figure is known as Basic EPS (short
for earnings per share.) In other
words, when you buy a share of
Harrison Fudge Company, you are
buying the right to your pro-rata
profits. Were you to acquire 100
shares for $2,500, you would be
buying $272 in annual profit plus
whatever future growth (or losses)
the company generated. If you
thought that a new management
could cause fudge sales to explode
so that your pro-rata profits would
be 5x higher in a few years, then
this would be an extremely
attractive investment.

Tips for Creating Good Resume
Your resume is an important step in your search for a job. Recruiters use resumes as an essential part of the screening process Due to time constraints, they have only seconds to scan the first few paragraphs of each document and decide whether they will dump it the wastebasket or read on.
You can follow these tips to create an interesting and impressive resume.
Craft your resume with a single objective in your mind which will further help you to elaborate on nd sell your qualifications in face-to-face communications with one or more decision makers.
Examine the job you want to apply and customize your resume to suits the description. You can browse the company profile on the internet and learn its history, culture and products.
Create a ‘career highlights’ sub section in your resume template. This offers a comprehensive, at-a-glance look at the experiences and abilities of a prospective employee. What are the qualifications, job experiences and other things that set one apart from all other applicants? A gist of your special qualifications should find place in your resume.
Educational qualifications: These are of course important when a person is entering the job market; but they do not cease to be important later either; they can be as important for a prospective employer as your on job experiences
Be honest. With the aid of computer screening programs it is easier than ever to pick up discrepancies in a document. Some applicants try to fudge on their qualifications.
Don’t spell out a litany of positions you have held. Instead, for example, if you were a sales manager, relate how sales were increased under your leadership. Recruiters hire people based more on their accomplishments than their experience. For e.g. don’t claim “strong communications skills.” Demonstrate the fact by the effectiveness of your resume and cover letter. Compute your accomplishments in order to increase their effectiveness.
Include mentions of awards or special recognitions you may have won. They will add to impact that your resume formats make on prospective employers
Keep your resume short and to the point. In today’s highly competitive job market, there is a temptation to go on and on, wanting to load the document with all of the positives that paint the best possible picture. If you go longer, the reader can easily conclude that you can’t organize and focus your thoughts.
Use good quality stationery. The resume should be clearly printed and easy to read. Make sure the font is large and clear. Even if you are emailing your resume, make sure that the formatting is clear and not crowded.
Don’t allow a single error in spelling and grammar slip into your resume. Get a friend, preferable one well versed in rules of the English language, to proof read your documents. Errors free resume points to a worker’s work qualities such as meticulousness and attention to detail.
Also errors in contact information may prevent a prospective employer from getting in touch with you! And make sure that your contact information makes it simple to access you. Don’t give an email address that you don’t check regularly.
Having a general resume is a good idea, but it must be customized to dovetail with the precise requirements of each different job that you apply for. Appropriate modifications/changes must be made as required.
Good resume will magnetize the employer to hire you as employee. Typically yours is one of dozens resumes that a potential employer is going through to short list candidates for the interview for any job. So if your resume is not able to say anything special or if it does not set itself apart from others on a qualitative basis, then chances are you’re never going to get that interview call. So what are the features of a winning resume that you should adopt in order that your resume doesn’t end up with all the others in the ‘discarded’ pile.
Good luck in your job search. But with time, things do change and start getting staler. Later you will also find that your man just loses it really easy with even the simplest things that you could mention. If you really want to make your relationship work and make him your very own then learn about the things that a man wishes to hear.
Your man sure is to be happy if you could tell him that he is your sun, moon and the star. In other words, it means that he is your end-all and your do-all. Men like to believe that they are the only best thing that has ever happened to you. So make it a point to tell him that and let him enjoy himself listening to it. Next, you will have to remember that men are narcissistic and they love to admire themselves. Your man would love it even further if you can tell him how hot he is and how even Brad Pitt fades in comparison to him!
You will have to always remember that men have a very big ego and all of it spelled with in capitals! So make it a point to boost his ego every day. Even if he cooks something that smells and tastes rotten make it a point to tell him that it is the most delicious food that you have ever come across, until he tastes it and says otherwise. Even when he does, contradict him outright and tell him that it is the tastiest food ever and that even your mother can't cook as good as him.
You would have to make certain that you praise him with every single opportunity you get. No matter how small or insignificant a thing he does, make it a point to tell him that he is the best at what he is doing and that no one else would be able to do so. The last and the most important thing a man wants to hear is about the measurements of his manhood and how well it satisfies you. Even if his manhood is on the smaller side, he still wants to hear you say that it is really big and that you enjoy your time in bed with him.
Now say these silly things and see how your man enjoys listening to you. Now that you have mastered this art, even you can easily decipher and understand men easily. Always remember that no matter how hard it is or even how fake it sounds, you will still have to satisfy his ego and tell him those little white lies or even the bigger lies if you really want him to enjoy listening to you.

pls drop a comment thanks

KNOW WHAT YOU WANT
Relationships will always be complicated. Many women simply do not know what they are looking for in a man. If you are a woman over forty, and you are looking for a new man to begin a relationship with, you must think about exactly what kind of relationship you want before you even start dating.
Men and women are very different, but most women realize that from a very young age. When it comes to getting involved in a romantic relationship, men and women seek and expect very different things. This is the reason why it seems so difficult for us to find a man that will make us happy.
Take a look at your past relationships with men. All of us tend to be creatures of habit, so it is very likely that you are just finding the same type of man over and over again. This time let it be different so you can break the cycle and find someone you are truly compatible with.
Make a list of what qualities and traits you are seeking with a man you would want to become involved with. Write down what you would expect in regards to handling finances, intimacy, faith, values, family, and anything else that is part of your life. So many women believe that men will change once they are in a committed relationship with a woman. This is rarely true and women should not expect it.
You deserve to be in a relationship with a man who will accept you for who you are. Focus on finding the right person, make a commitment to seek out men who have the qualities, characteristics, and traits that are important to you, and then make an effort to meet men who meet your criteria.PLS COMMENT

STUDY HER BODY LANGUAGE
Do you feel that a certain girl likes you but you just aren't sure about it? We generally take men on their word, especially if we've been dating one for a bit. He says he'll call in the morning, so we wait and wait until noon rolls into the evening and he still hasn't called. It's frustrating and can leave you feeling more than a little rejected if it happens over and over again.
There could be any number of reasons why men don't call you back ranging from him legitimately being busy with work, his just forgetting or it could be intentional. Most women don't realize that men often use the tactic of ignoring you to make judgments about you. If the man in your life says he'll call you tomorrow, and tomorrow passes without a word, what would you do? Without even thinking you may call him by the end of the day because you think he forgot. You may even be mad when you call or emotional and accuse him of neglecting you. Men anticipate this and if this is how you respond to his not calling you, you are actually damaging your own chances with him.
Regardless of why men don't call you back, your reaction to his non-existent phone call should be one thing and one thing only. You need to go into ignore mode. You need to forget his number and you need to focus on you. If he doesn't call you back when he says he will, don't call him. Don't call him that day, the next day or the next week. You must wait for him to call you. If you take this approach you are sending a very loud and clear message to him, through your actions, that you aren't about to chase after him. Men want to be the ones chasing the women in their lives so give him that opportunity. Show him that your life doesn't hinge on hearing from him. If you do that, you'll hear from him more often and he'll start calling exactly when he says he will.
You need to always remember that men and women view phone calls, emails and text in very different ways. If you make the mistake of calling too frequently, at the wrong time or before he's ready to hear from you, you can actually turn him off. Women unwittingly ruin their chances of a future with a man because they are too over eager to hear from him. Don't let this happen to you. For more answers to the age old question of when you should and shouldn't be calling the man in your life.
You may think that there's no consequence when you pick up the phone to call the man in your life, but there is. Men pay close attention to when women call them and they'll make assumptions about you based on that.Know when the perfect time to contact him is so that he'll find you irresistible.
